What Do They Actually Mean? is designed for conversations that may be personal. Please avoid including names, phone numbers, addresses, or other identifying details unless they are genuinely necessary for the analysis.

What we store

We currently do not use user accounts or our own database to store your chat history. Your conversation exists in your browser while you use the chat and is cleared when you start a new situation or reload the page.

How your message is processed

Your messages are sent securely through our Cloudflare backend to the OpenAI API so the AI can generate a response.

OpenAI

OpenAI does not use API inputs and outputs to train its models by default. API data may be retained for up to 30 days for safety and abuse-monitoring purposes, unless longer retention is legally required.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare processes requests needed to operate this website. Standard technical request logs and metadata may be recorded by Cloudflare. We do not intentionally log the contents of your conversations in our own application logs.

Please anonymize sensitive conversations

If you paste a real conversation, consider replacing names and identifying details before sending it.

Important: This service uses AI and can make mistakes. Do not rely on it as your only source of guidance in emergencies, legal matters, medical situations, or situations involving immediate danger.
